Stay far away from Sixt!

Rented from Ohare airport for less than 24 hours. Was given an “upgrade” to a BMW X2 and signed all the paperwork then given the keys. The car was parked between 3 cars inside a parking garage, which is hindsight I’m fairly certain it was to hide the scratched rim. No employee did a walk around with me and I was able to just drive out of the parking garage. Upon drop off the employee found a scratch on the rim. I told her that didn’t happen during my rental and she said “don’t worry, you won’t be charged for it, I’m just documenting it”. Less than a week later they’re sending me a bill for over $650. This includes a $200 admin fee. Through my emails back and forth with them they admitted they won’t fix the rim, despite charging me both an inflated charge to fix the rim along with an over $80 diminution of value fee.
