Scammed by Sixt Faro Portugal by Rafael

by Geoff
The guy at the counter, I think his name was Raphael, said you have basic insurance right? I said yes. I have never got the question to upgrade for more than 200 euro's for full insurance. The car rental was only 100 euro's!!!! The car was full of damages, I have the picture. So why would I pay more than the car itself? The guy at the counter said, would you like us to fuel the car for you up on return? I asked, is it free of charge, he said yes. My father can confirm. Why would I pay 30 euro's for filling the car while the station is next to the Sixt return point? Fuel is only 1,60 per liter in Portugal. I used only 1/8 of the fuel. I so much regret that I didn't used Uber or local taxi's for the short rides I have taken. He (Raphael I think) just said, please your signature for the car. I never saw any list of extra services. Nothing about full insurance of the 200's euro's and / or 100 euro's for using all of the petrol of the car. What a scammers!!!!
