Proof from ex-Sixt employee

This is from a former Sixt employee:
"Hi everyone so I'm a previous sixt employee and would like to share with you how this company works. But yes you are right they are scammers which is why I left.
I started as a Valeter/Driver - we had targets to hit on recording damages and was told you need to get atleast 25% of total check in cars with damages to hit a bonus and if you don't hit these numbers then you could loose your job for not hitting targets.
I was then moved onto the desk serving customers - on the desk you have to sell to hit targets and you make commission on every sale you make. If a customer comes in and buys nothing extra then you loose some commission and your numbers go down.
The desk works just like this-
if a customer has a booking you try and explain the car isn't ready yet or isn't back from fueling up etc just basically any small excuse to get the customer to pay for a upgrade to help numbers.
If a customer books through a third party like booking.com etc then you add the insurance on to get the sale and just say yes you booked your insurance on the third party but have to pay for it here and when a customer disputes they have already paid for this on the third party sixt would make you question them and say that would just be a fee payment and you have to pay the insurance in store to basically get them to pay for it. Even though the insurance you paid on the third party website is perfectly fine but they don't want you to know that or they loose out on commission.
If you have a CC ( corporate account) then sixt would make us give them a bigger car and charge them stupid for the car and add all extras like satnav insurance etc as corporate cards done need to make a payment in store just sign at the end as the corporate card is already stored and set up on booking upon arrival.
If someone has already booked everything like insurance etc we could see this on the computer and would try avoid serving these people as the longer the rental the more it would take off your commission and damage your number. So only option you had was to try and lie to them and make them upgrade to a different car.
If someone had everything booked and took nothing extra or came in and didn't want to take no insurance etc then they would wait for the customer to return take the key then hand it to the valeter and say find damage on this car they didn't take no insurance etc so they get a bill and will have to take it next time.
Sixt is a scam and it's all about numbers if you don't sell or mark damage then your sacked for not hitting targets.
They is people who work the desk who make upto 10,000 extra a month ontop of there monthly salary because there good at talking people into buying.
I could go into alot more details but I hope these details can help you fight these claims. An my best advise like I use to tell every customer that came in who I personally served was take videos and photos before you leave with the car and when you return do the same and then get someone to come out and do a live check in with you aswell. That way if u have proof of before and after sixt never dispute the damages with you and throw it straight out as I had customers coming in with gifts thanking me for this when sixt tried to charge them damage.
Oh and SIXT do not get the damages repaired unless it's something that makes the car not road worthy like panels hanging off or tyres with puncture or flat. That's why you get a damage report sent to you for the car you hire. But I know when the cars are collected to go back to dealership or auction they leave with the same damage on them. I'm just not sure weather sixt have to pay for these repairs when they get returned or not. And also if a customer brings the car back with numerous scratches they tell the valeter to mark certain one and leave the others for when another customer comes in and doesn't take the insurance to use them."
